Leadership

Michael T. Cook | President & Founder

Michael is the President and Founder of Corporate IT Solutions. He started his technical career straight out of high school in 1989 assisting in the support of a 200 node Novell network environment for four years; it is from there his thirst to gain intimate knowledge, experience and expertise in each area of Information Technology started. Four years following his departure from his first technical job he then moved into a Microsoft technical support role supporting the first versions of Microsoft Windows and then onto the Beta version of Windows 95 and Windows Server NT 4.0.  Leaning toward the in-depth technical aspect of systems he then went on to work for IBM providing corporate training to Fortune 500 companies. Following his 2 year tenure of training it lead him into the systems integration field where within a handpicked team performed worldwide technology rollouts and migrations for EMC over a 4 year span. Gaining enterprise experience and values from his time at EMC, Michael decided to dissect the enterprise approach and customize it for the small to medium size business containing several aspects; value, honesty, friendly service, communication, and strong teammates. Starting with these principals he leveraged his former and current contacts within the industry and started his own consulting practice. Since its inception in 2001 starting on the downslide of the technology boom and one of the worst economic times for technology, Michael and his growing devoted team have been fortunate enough to stick to their principles and values by offering the same consistent services.
