How does Virtualization Work?
Virtualization lets you transform hardware into software. Using VMware vSphere to transform or “virtualize” the hardware resources of an x86-based server which includes the CPU, RAM, hard disk and network controller to create a fully functional virtual machine that can run its own operating system and applications just like a physical server.
Multiple virtual machines share hardware resources without interfering with each other so that you can safely run several operating systems and applications at the same time on a single server.

Analyze – CITS runs VMware’s Capacity Planner to discover your networks parameters.
Design – CITS will create a new virtualized network that will improve performance and reduce our clients total cost of ownership. This is achieved by reducing the amount of equipment needed, a reduction in the resources to consolidated equipment , and lower administration costs.
Replicate – CITS can replicate your new virtual environment to our Collocation facility giving our clients a Disaster Recovery plan and enhanced Business Continuity.
Support – When everything is completed you can continue to work with CITS to support your new virtual environment or we can work with you to successfully train you on how.
